Barge, Freight, and Moorage Terminals

We own and operate seven barge, freight, and moorage terminals across Puget Sound and Southeast Alaska. Owning our own waterfront dock space and laydown yards means Boyer Towing controls the schedule for both load-out and offload, and our full-time staff facilitates every cargo operation at each terminal.

What does that mean for Boyer customers? No waiting on berth space. No staffing-related delays. A full range of equipment on site — warehousing, cranes, forklifts, ramp ways, and more.

Where We Work

Year-round service in Puget Sound, the British Columbia coast, and Southeast Alaska has been the heart and soul of the Boyer business since day one. We also consider Western Alaska, the Aleutian Islands, and the Arctic our home waters. Beyond that, charter work has taken us as far as Australia, the US East Coast, South America, the Indian Ocean, and the Southern Pacific. Our Seattle terminal — Boyer Towing headquarters — gives us a strategic launching point for freight consolidation and preparation to reach each and every region of the globe we provide service.

How a Job Comes Together

Step one is a conversation, not a form. Tell us what needs to move, where it's originating from, where it's going, and when it has to be there.

Step two, send us the scope of work. A cargo list, if you have one — or a materials list with type and volume works just as well. With that information, we can right-size the tug and barge and get you the best pricing possible. If this is a service contract involving a work platform or an extended work period, send us the overall project plan so we can see how the tug and barge fit into it. Without this information, we're shooting from the hip.

Step three, we're straight with you. If we're the right outfit for the job, we'll tell you why. If we're not, we'll say that too — and typically point you toward an alternative solution.

Call 206-763-8696  or email info@boyertowing.com with the details, and we'll price it.
